Jack and his wife had recently redone their backyard pool area. They stopped by our Bellingham, Massachusetts showroom because they were frustrated with the lack of shade at the pool after so many trees had been removed. Discussing this together, we decided that a 14×22 elevated patio would make a great spot for a custom-built pavilion. Overlooking the pool and background, it would create shade and make their pool area a nice destination for visiting with family and entertain friends.
Since the patio was already installed, we needed to be very specific with our design and measurements to ensure that the pavilion would fit correctly on the patio as well as accommodate the existing stairs in the center. We also needed to pull up the bluestone in the area of each foundation footing. Outdoor Personia designed the structure, acquired the building permit, installed the foundation, and built the structure.
