Chris was in the process of having a new swimming pool installed in his Sudbury home’s beautiful backyard. The surrounding area is in full sun, and he wanted a large structure for shade and for covering his planned poolside bar. Chris visited our Bellingham Design Center, where we listened to his needs and then collaborated on designing a custom 12×20 Swan Wood Pavilion.
We first took care of all the required permits, and since the landscaping had not yet begun, we coordinated with his contractor and placed all the footings before the stamped concrete surface was installed. The Pavilion’s pine structure received a dark wood stain coat blending the columns into the wooded surroundings, and we added a lighted ceiling fan to accent the interior nicely.
