Dee was looking for a large space that could double as a workspace and storage for household goods. She wanted the shed to be heated and air conditioned for year-round use. After listening to her needs, we recommended a 10′ x 20′ Pilgrim Sudbury shed with an 88.5″ high wall and a 6/12 roof pitch. To make her new shed energy efficient, we upgraded the shed with insulated windows and a fully insulated floor system to facilitate their planned installation of electric baseboard heating. Since security was a priority, we recommended a pre-hung door.
Outdoor Personia reviewed the building site and recommended an area of the yard where we could deliver the structure fully built. Our crew then built an appropriate stone base to support the new shed. After the shed was installed, Dee made plans to insulate the walls and ceiling, install electrical wiring, heating and air conditioning.
